‚ÄčBelkin and Anker, two of the biggest players in the consumer electronics wireless charging industry, have both announced their first wireless charging Tx devices with Qi2 compatibility. Belkin has introduced a 3-in1 charging pad coming toward the end of 2023 and a second charger that can be converted from a pad to a stand will follow with a release date scheduled some time at the start of Q1 2024. Anker has announced that it will update its MagGo hardware range to become compatible with Qi2 devices. The MagGo range was previously only compatible with Apple MagSafe devices. The updated range of MagGo products are set to be made available before the end of 2023.

As the availability of testing & certification to the Qi2 specification has not yet been officially announced by the Wireless Power Consortium, the timing may be tight for these devices to ship in Q4 2023 as fully Qi2 certified products. Regardless, these are some of the first major brands to release a Qi2 compatible wireless charging transmitter and with no Qi2 certified Rx (e.g. mobile phones) yet released this shows promising support for the Qi2 charging infrastructure and accessories.
